Pentair OMNIFilter RS22 Heavy Duty cartridges are designed to provide economical fine sediment filtration for the whole house, reducing sediment, sand, dirt, and rust particles down to 5 microns in both chlorinated and non-chlorinated water supplies. These cartridges are manufactured from a durable polypropylene string that is wound around a rigid polypropylene core, resulting in a premium string-wound solution.
The RS22 cartridges are wound in a precise pattern around the core, providing a greater surface area. This results in a higher dirt loading capacity and greater efficiency than standard wound cartridges. These string-wound cartridges can withstand temperatures up to 165°F and accommodate flow rates between 7 and 10 GPM with minimal pressure drop.
The RS22 series cartridges are suitable for a wide variety of sediment filtration applications, including municipal and well water. They are designed to work best with OMNIFilter BF7, BF9C, BF35, and BF36C Heavy Duty Filter Housing, and can fit all 10" heavy-duty filter housings, replacing any 10" x 4.5" sediment filter cartridge.
Manufactured from durable polypropylene, the RS22 cartridges are precision-wound around a rigid polypropylene core, providing a more effective solution compared to standard wound cartridges. With a 30,000-gallon capacity, these cartridges should be replaced every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or water quality is noticed.
