The OMNI Filter's RS18 heavy-duty whole house spun polypropylene cartridges are designed for the reduction of sand, dirt, sediment, and rust particles, helping to protect your plumbing and appliances from costly repairs caused by clogged sediment. These cost-effective solutions are suitable for homes with sediment problems, and can be used on chlorinated or non-chlorinated water supplies, ensuring your water stays clean and your appliances are protected.
Manufactured with 100% pure polypropylene, the RS18 cartridges are suitable for use on municipal or well water supplies. The gradient density design traps sediment within the cartridge, not just on the outer layer, resulting in better flow rates and reduced pressure drop.
Specifically designed to work best with OMNI Filter's BF7, BF9C, BF35, and BF36C filter systems, the RS18 cartridges can also fit into any 10" heavy-duty housing, replacing any 10" x 4.5" sediment filter cartridge.
With a 30,000-gallon capacity, the RS18 cartridges should be replaced every 6 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality, ensuring your water remains clean and your appliances are protected from the harmful effects of sediment.
