Pentair OMNIFilter CB3 Carbon Water Filter, 10 Undersink Replacement Cartridge
The Pentair OMNIFilter CB3 under-sink 10" drinking water carbon block cartridge is highly effective at reducing a wide range of contaminants, including extra fine sediment down to 0.5 microns, unpleasant tastes and odors, chlorine taste and odor, Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts, lead, lindane, and atrazine. This cartridge is designed for use in OMNIFilter CBF3 and OT32 systems, as well as other manufacturers' under-sink filter systems.
Enjoying clean, clear, and better-tasting water is made possible by this cartridge's ability to significantly reduce unwanted bad taste, odor, chlorine, and various other contaminants. It is certified by NSF/ANSI 42/53 for the reduction of lead, chlorine taste and odor, Giardia, Cryptosporidium cysts, and other harmful chemicals.
When used in OMNIFilter CBF3 and OT32 systems, this filter cartridge is also certified by the IAPMO R&T against NSF/ANSI 53 for the reduction of PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) and PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate), commonly known as "forever chemicals." This provides users with the peace of mind of knowing that their drinking water is being effectively treated for these persistent contaminants.
The Pentair OMNIFilter CB3 cartridge is designed for use in under-sink drinking water filter systems, including the OMNIFilter CBF1, CBF3, OT32, and USM2 housings, as well as 10" standard housings of other major brands. With a 400-gallon capacity, this cartridge should be replaced every 6 months or when a drop in water pressure or quality is noticed.
By incorporating this high-performance carbon block cartridge into their under-sink filter systems, users can enjoy the benefits of cleaner, clearer, and better-tasting water, with the added assurance of reduction of a wide range of contaminants, including the increasingly concerning "forever chemicals" PFOA and PFOS.
