Pentair's OMNIFilter RS14 Sediment Water Filter, 10-Inch, is a standard whole-house polypropylene spun sediment replacement filter cartridge that measures 10" x 2.5" and has a 10-micron rating. This filter cartridge is used for the reduction of sand, dirt, sediment, and rust particles, helping to protect your plumbing and appliances from getting plugged with sediment and preventing costly repairs. The OMNIFilter RS14 is a cost-effective solution for homes with sediment problems and can be used on chlorinated or non-chlorinated water supplies.
Both the OMNIFilter TO1 and OMNIFilter RS14 are 10-inch standard-sized cartridges that fit Pentair OMNIFilter U24, U25, U30 10" filter systems and other standard 10" housings. The OMNIFilter TO1 carbon filter has a capacity of 15,000 gallons, while the OMNIFilter RS14 polypropylene sediment filter has a capacity of 10,000 gallons. These filters should be replaced every 3 months or when pressure or quality drops.
The OMNIFilter TO1 carbon filter is made of carbon-impregnated cellulose media, while the OMNIFilter RS14 polypropylene sediment filter is made of 100% polypropylene fibers for purity.
