The Pentair OMNIFilter RS1 Sediment Water Filter, 10-Inch, is a standard whole-house pleated cellulose sediment replacement filter cartridge. It has a 20 micron rating and is designed to capture sand, dirt, sediment, and rust particles, protecting your plumbing and appliances from clogging and costly repairs. This filter can be used on both chlorinated and non-chlorinated water supplies, making it a cost-effective solution for homes with sediment problems.
Both the TO1 carbon filter and the RS1 sediment filter are compatible with Pentair OMNIFilter 10" standard filter systems, including the U24, U25, and U30 models, and they also fit most 10" x 2.5" filter housings. The TO1 filter cartridge has a capacity of 15,000 gallons, while the RS1 filter cartridge also has a capacity of 15,000 gallons.
It is recommended to replace the filter cartridges every 3 months or when there is a noticeable drop in pressure or water quality. These filters are intended for use with chlorinated water supplies.
