However, it is not compatible with systems with specific RO housing designs, such as Culligan, EcoWater, GE, Microline, Pen-tek, Rainsoft, Watts Premier, and Whirlpool.
The MS RO membrane has a lifespan of 2-3 years, depending on the water quality. It is recommended to rinse the element for 24 hours before first use and discard the initial full tank of permeate. The membrane shows some resistance to short-term chlorine (hypochlorite) exposure, but continuous exposure should be avoided.
